RoADAR is a team of people dedicated to improving driving skills for car drivers and bikers.
“We’re all in the same business” said BASICS Hampshire spokesman Jay Andrews.
“You do the preventative end, thank God. It’s clear people like you and BikeSafe are helping reduce the figures of road traffic accidents.
“And BASICS Hampshire and other pre hospital emergency services are at the other end, picking up – hopefully – fewer pieces.”
Jay explained that in Hampshire, BASICS doctors have the skills to operate by the roadside or at the scene of any trauma or illness and help keep people alive to the expert skills in key hospitals. They fly on HIOWAA as well.
Dorset has never had a BASICS team but it’s building from the air ambulance.
