Well done to all 11 doing a challenging ten miles in the Great South Run  – someone crept in from our original 10 – hands up Amy from Team Tom!   Left,  Andy, Julie, Amy and Tom.  Andy was first back in 01.12

Then came Mark Ellis at 01.22, pictured below left in the hat  with his colleague from NHS CSU Graham Terry (01.42).  First woman home was behatted Sarette Martin, a minute behind Mark (I’m loving the hats) and Deborah Upham at 01.33 and Stacey Killon (down the page right with Sarette on left) at 01.34 proving this  NHS is fit!  Tom Durham came home in 01.37 with Kate Welsby on his tail at 01.41 and Amelia Price (see just below after surrendering her tag in the runners’ cage)  at 01.56 and Julie Higgs running with niece Amy Durham on 02.13.

With winds gusting at 45 mph up Portsmouth Hard as runners came in for the final stretch, it wasn’t a time for Personal Bests -but brilliant efforts from everyone including  the first-time 10 milers of which I think we had four: Tom, Kate, Amy and Amelia.

And great news – Team Tom plan to go again next year.  Hope it’s for us!
