Spate of critical interventions by BASICS Hampshire

Over the last two weekends, volunteer doctors from BASICS Hampshire have used emergency procedures in a flurry of cases.  These include a two car collision on the A338 outside Ringwood; a badly fitting man in Havant; a severely injured child in Southampton; a woman suffering from intense effects of smoke and fire in Basingstoke.  Most of the patients required anaesthetizing and intubating at scene to help them survive to hospital and give them the best chance of recovery.
